A long time ambition of ours is to be completely self-sufficient with our own renewable energy.

We nearly made it 2 years ago and had the contract to sign, but in the same week the first lockdown for Covid was announced.

We are delighted to say that our solar array is now fitted and we are 100% self-sufficient for electricity…yay! And what better day to have them installed than World Earth Day!

Since May 2022 we have been running on our new Solax Solar System.

This is a 46 x 400w PV panel array giving us 18.4KWh of possible energy production which is enough to run Anglia Print and charge our batteries to 17.4KWh to keep office equipment (Phones, Servers) running through the night. Of course this is dependent on Sunny East Anglia living up to its name.

Since it was commissioned in to service we have been producing approximately 2MWh per month saving 1.94 metric tonnes per month of CO2 being produced which in turn helps Anglia Print live up to its statement of being one of the Greenest and Cleanest Print companies in the United Kingdom
